A Process for this Assignment

1. Read chapters 5 and 7 UnSpun. Post each chapters major details, in sentence form, in the blog before class on date designated in course schedule. Be ready to discuss these onlines ;

3. Based on the assignment and your reading, come up with your own issue in the text and find a website that addresses that issue. Determine how you can tie the thoughts of Jackson and Jamieson into your discussion of your issue;
4. Using the assigned readings, decide how you want to present the chosen website and gather the necessary information using the suggestions in those assigned readings;
5. Based on your perspective and the material from the sources, follow the provided approach for coming up with the essay's thesis;
6. Write a draft of your essay, being sure that it makes a point of value to thoughtful readers (such as college students and teachers). Where appropriate, use quotes or paraphrases from the text to shed some light on what is happening in your discussion of your issue. (This is optional except for the introduction of the essay, but a good idea if you can make it work.) Post this draft to the appropriate forum before the start of class on date designated in course schedule;
7. Use feedback to revise and make the essay more effective. Do not revise just at the surface/micro level (grammar, punctuation, word choice, that sort of thing) but on the global/macro level (topic choice and focus, detail arrangment and choice (to add or delete), that sort of thing) which will make the essay more effective.
